Alex McQuiston
Winner of CNMedia Culture Champion and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Alex McQuiston is fast becoming one of the new generation of leaders in cultural entrepreneurship. Alex's specialisms lie in programming, corporate sponsorship acquisition, fundraising, organisational and audience development. Trained as a cellist, at Chethams School of Music, the RNCM & the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, Alex has achieved an impressive client list of musicians the world over. His programming has lead him to work with artists including; Dame Evelyn Glennie, Tasmin Little, Emma Johnson, David Fray & Anna Fedorova. For the past four years Alex has held the position of Director at Absolute Classics, based in Dumfries and Galloway Scotland. He has grown this organisation from a fledgling into a year round presentation of 50 classical music concerts, a ten day festival and a region wide provider of classical music education opportunities. |
Penny Lewis
Penny Lewis is a fundraising professional with an impressive track record extending over 25 years. Experienced in both capital and revenue fundraising mainly in the arts, Penny spent 14 years as Director of Fundraising & Sponsorship of Scottish Opera. Now working as a consultant and sharing her skills and experience with others in the not-for-profit sector, recent projects have included leading a major capital campaign for St Columba’s School in Kilmacolm and she is currently advising a number of small arts and other charitable organisations on developing individual and major gift programmes. Penny is an experienced trainer and mentor, helping arts leaders and charity boards to develop their fundraising skills and increase their understanding of the role they can play in identifying and bringing supporters into their organisations. |

Narelle is a Creative Practitioner and Business Development Professional who has worked closely with individuals and organisations across the cultural and voluntary sectors to secure high value contracts and funding support. Her professional accreditations include a Fellowship with the Chartered Management Institute and a Certified Foundation Membership of the Association of Bid and Proposal Management Professionals. |
